Is This My Carrie Bradshaw Moment? Let’s Find Out!

There will never be the right time or moment to start something. You simply just have to go for it. 

If you asked me how long I’ve wanted to start a blog or how many times I said I would start one, I would be rich. But we’re here now, aren’t we?

While interviewing a clothing line owner, she said something that stuck with me: “Someone told me that I will never find that right time. My life is always going to get crazier as I get older. I’m young and it’s a perfect time to start whatever you desire.”

I don’t know how many people will read these posts, but life is too short to worry about what other people think. Do what makes you happy and this is me channeling my inner Carrie Bradshaw, starting my own blog and creating my own content. Just trying to live that influencer life! 

Before this year, I always worried about what people thought about me. I would be nervous to do just about anything that had me in the spotlight. Ironic since I’m a broadcast and journalism major, anyway…. But now, I’m putting myself out there because in hindsight, who f***ing cares?

Be comfortable with being uncomfortable.

You’re doing things you want to do, benefitting yourself while everyone else is watching you make the most of your life. We only get one so make the most of it. Truly start living and romanticizing it. 

It’s yours and no one else’s so do everything you want.

If I never watched The Carrie Diaries or Sex and the City and was inspired by none other than the Carrie Bradshaw, I don’t know if I would’ve been inspired to have a column like her when I knew I wanted to go into Journalism. 

So here I am, publishing my blog and stories I have for you. 

I didn’t talk a lot this time.
